Q.O.C. Fulg-o-thread^TM

The closure Fulg-o-thread^tm consists of a threaded door which is screwed on the hub so as to transmit the load over the entire circumference through specially designed threads (according to the main international standards such as ISO, ACME, etc ..)

• The Fulg-o-thread^tm closure locking mechanism is a rotating ISO or ACME threaded door and relevant matching hub which transmits loads uniformly to the full 360° circumference of the neck by means of calculated and heavy tested threads.
• The locking mechanism incorporates a hand operated pressure warning device which prevents the door being unlocked until there is no residual pressure inside the vessel.
• The Fulg-o-thread^tm closure utilizes a standard o-ring which energizes at zero pressure. The seal provides also a full vacuum capability.
• There is no pressure bolting on the Fulg-o-thread^tm closures.
• The closure necks and doors are manufactured from plates or forged materials which comply with the requirements of NACE MR 01-75.
