UNI EN ISO 9002 - 1994
Our W.P.S. are approved by an official organism and performed according to both UNI EN 288/3 and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section IX. There're specifications for each process, in any type of material according to the relevant P number and Group number, and with special requirements, for instance, Charpy V at -60°C.

   Procedure Qualification Records

In those records are stated all parameters used and test results obtained for each Test Coupon performed with the relevant W.P.S.; to do that, each welding machine is equipped with a Welding-Box™, that is an electronic device able to record and print all welding parameters for each welding pass.

Based on the type of mechanical tests and their temperature, heat treatments, chemical analyses, etc., our specifications are performed according to the following standards:

  • ASME boiler & pressure vessel code section IX

  • UNI EN 288 part.III

  • ISO 404

  • DIN

The system we use to define and keep under control the most important welding parameters is included in a simple software named virtual welding, check it out and let us know what do you think about it.

All our welding specifications are available on line, simply click on the link below to download them directly in Acrobat Reader format (*.pdf) on Your hard drive (Login required).

All our weldings are non destructive tested according to the following standards, except when, on Customer's request in writing, the type of N.D.T. must be performed according to other rules.

  • X-Ray test according to ASME code sect.VIII div.1 UW51

  • Ultrasonic test according to ASME code sect.VIII div.1 UW53 app.12

  • Magnetic Particle inspection according to ASME code sect.VIII div.1 app.6

  • Dye Penetrant test according to ASME code sect.VIII div.1 app.8
